Fundraising Requirement

The Stony Plain Sharks Swim Club relies on fundraising to help offset operating costs and keep registration fees as affordable as possible for families. Expenses such as pool rentals, coaching wages, swim meet fees, insurance, and equipment add up quickly. Without the support of our fundraising initiatives, membership fees would need to be significantly higher.

By participating in these activities, families play a crucial role in supporting the success and sustainability of our program. Every effort—whether through bingos, raffles, or other initiatives—helps us maintain a high-quality swim experience while keeping the sport accessible for all members.

Please note: Fundraising requirements for the 2026 season may be updated based on final registration numbers. The details below reflect historical averages and may be subject to change.

Bingo Requirements

  • 2 bingo shifts per athlete

Failure to fulfill your commitment will result in a $300 penalty per missed obligation. Payment must be arranged before your child(ren) can return to the pool. Any unpaid balances will be added to the swimmer’s registration fee for the following season.

Sharks Cash Raffle

  • Each swimmer is required to sell one booklet

  • Each booklet contains 10 tickets at $10 per ticket

Bingo Opt-Out Option

Families have the option to buy-out of their required Bingo shifts. The buy-out amount is $200 per Bingo, with payment due at the time of fee payment. To select this option, please contact stonyplainsharks@gmail.com to arrange payment and discuss details.
