Welcome to the Stony Plain Sharks 2026 Season!
Registering is quick and easy for both new and returning members. Once registered, you’ll receive access to a personal account where you can:
Declare attendance for swim meets
Sign up for volunteer opportunities
Track your swimmer’s progress
Update contact information
Registration Details
Registration Opens: February 16, 2026
Swim Season: May 19 (weather permitting) – August 16, 2026
Please note: Practices during August 10–14 may be limited to swimmers who qualify for Provincials.
Location: Stony Plain Outdoor Pool
5210 55 Ave, Stony Plain
Swimmers must be at least 5 years old by January 1, 2026, and may participate up to age 21.
Practice Schedule: Specific training times for all swimmers will be determined once registration numbers are finalized. Practices run Monday - Friday.
First-hour swimmer: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Second-hour swimmers: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
What to Bring: Swimwear, a towel, goggles, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a positive attitude!

Program Options & Fees
Sharks Registration – $400
Our full program offers up to five days per week of one-hour training sessions (Monday–Friday).
Attendance every day is not mandatory—families can choose the schedule that works best.
NEW THIS YEAR – Beginner Sharks – $300
Designed for our youngest swimmers aged 5–7, this program offers training up to three days per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (excluding holidays).
Swimmers in this age group may also choose the full Sharks program if they prefer training up to 5 days per week.
Rookie Days
New to competitive swimming? Not sure if the program is the right fit?
Join us for Rookie Days!
Dates: May 4, 6, and 8, 2026
Time: 6:00–7:00 PM
Location: Tri Leisure Centre (TLC)
Purchase a wristband for your swimmer and bring them out to meet our coaches! They will guide participants through introductory activities and help assess readiness for the competitive season.
For safety, all swimmers must be able to pass a Competitive Readiness Swim Test, as outlined by Swim Alberta.
