Westlock Gators to Host First Region B Swim Meet of the 2012 Season
The sign up binder will be circulated this week for the Westlock Gators. See details of the meet below. If you are a new Shark Family do not be shy about talking with the coaches to determine what evens are best suited for your new swimmer. Entry Limit: Maximum individual entries per swimmer: 3 (excluding flutterboard)
Maximum relay entries per swimmer: 2
Qualification: All swimmers must be registered with ASSA.
Scoring: Top six (6) places - 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - when hosted in a 6 lane pool
Awards: The top three male and top three female swimmers belonging to each ASSA age group who accumulated the most points based on their individual event swims shall receive a Gold medal (1st Place),Silver medal (2nd Place) and BronzeMedal (3rd Place)Medals.
Warm Up Information: Warm ups will be 15 minutes long occurring at the beginning of the meet. One lane will be reserved for diving and all other lanes will be designated.
Seeding: Seeded slowest to fastest heats. Swimmers with no time will be seeded in the slowest heats.
Coaches Meeting: The coaches meeting will be held 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of competition swimming.
Deck Entries: No deck entries.
Scratch Rules/Penalties: Scratches should be submitted to the Clerk of Course at the coaches meeting. There are no financial penalties for swimmers who 'No Show' for their event.
Relay Changes: Relay Changes shall be submitted no later than the beginning of the afternoon session.
